Introduction
 DESIGN RIBBON TOOL
BAR
●The Home tab holds the Cut and Paste features, Font and Paragraph options, and what you need to add and organize slides.
●Click the Insert tab to add something to a slide. This includes pictures, shapes, charts, links, text boxes, video, and more.
●On the Design tab, you can add a theme or colour scheme, or format the slide size or background.
●Set up how your slides change from one to the next on the Transitions tab.
●Use the Animations tab to choreograph the movement of things on your slides. You can see a variety of possible animations

the gallery, and you can see more of them by clicking the arrow below the gallery.
●On the Slide Show tab, set up the way that you want to show your presentation to others.
●The Review tab lets you add comments, run spell-check, review comments, and set permissions.
●The View tab allows you to look at your presentation in different ways, depending on where you are in the creation or delive

process.
 DISPLAYING
RIBBON
PowerPoint users have different tasks so the ribbon has been designed for responding for all of
them. If your ribbon occupies too much space on the screen then it can be easily minimized.
You must click “Display Options” in the right (upper) Ribbon’s corner.
● There you can see several options of ribbon minimizing from the dropping menu:

• “Auto-Hide Ribbon” – applying this option you will display PowerPoint in the full screen.
This mode will hide your ribbon. If you want your ribbon to be shown, you must click the
command “Expand Ribbon”. This command can be found at the screen’s top.
• “Show Tabs” – applying this option you will hide all command which you do not use at
the present moment. However, all the tabs will remain fully visible. The ribbon will be
shown after clicking the tab.
• “Show Tabs and Commands” – applying the option you will easily maximize your
ribbon. Now all your commands/tabs are visible. Please note that he option “Show Tabs
and Commands” is set by default every time when you open your PowerPoint program.
