 INTRODUCTION

A Computer system is defined as a digital electronics device that can be programmed to accept some
inputs in terms of data , then process this data as per the program instructions and provide the
Output in the desired format that can be used for some meaningful work.
A computer system is a digital electronic machine that be can programmed to perform some
operations as per the computer program instructions. The computer system consist of both
hardware and the software components . The computer hardware components are physical
components mounted within the computer case and some are also connected externally.
 COMPONENTS OF COMPUTER SYSTEM

A computer device is made up of various elements which help in its effective functioning and
processing. There are five basic components of the computer which help in making this processing of
data easier and convenient. 
By definition , components of a computer system are the primary elements which make the
functioning of an electronic device smooth and faster. There are five basic components which include:
1.Input Unit
2.Output Unit
3.Memory Unit
4.Control Unit
5.Arithmetical and Logical Unit
 WHERE ARE COMPUTER SYSTEMS USED ?

Computer systems are used in a wide variety of ways in a pharmaceutical establishment,

accounting and financial systems, in property, hotels, insurance, retail, production, sales
and other businesses and administrative uses.
 COMPUTER SYSTEMS IN : HOTELS

The hotel industry has been booming for years. With the entry of new entrepreneurs
in the business, the market is adapting to the environment of competition, and the
one who survives is the sage! In order to manage a hotel and ensure it has a smooth
functioning, hotelier needs to incorporate a Hotel software. After all, a hotel
without a hotel software is like a human body without a skeleton .
 •  The computer has probably been introduced and the basic of its
purpose is the processing of data into information. The term data is a
symbolic representation of facts about people, object or place
