Adjectives

What is adjective?
• An adjective is used to describe nouns, verbs etc.
• Example: Nana is beautiful.
Sheila is more beautiful than Nana.
Lily is the most beautiful.
Shafiq is intelligent.
Ehsan is more intelligent than Shafiq.
Farid is the most intelligent.
• We add ‘more’ to the adjectives for comparative purpose.
• It is specifically for the adjectives which have two or more
than two syllables (suku kata).
• Examples: expensive, intelligent, beautiful, dangerous,
interesting, comfortable.
• They (the comparative adjectives) become more expensive,
more intelligent, more beautiful, more dangerous, more
interesting and more comfortable.
