•Greek myth can be divided into four


major sections. These sections are
• Gods
• Demigods
• Monster and creatures
• titans
Gods
•The names of the famous Greek gods are as follows.

• Hestia: Goddess of the Hearth and Home.

• Demeter: Goddess of the Harvest and Agriculture.

• Hera: Goddess of Marriage, Women and Family; Queen of Olympus.

• Hades: God of the Dead and Riches; King of the Underworld.

• Poseidon: God of the Seas, Earthquakes, and Horses; King of Atlantis.

• Zeus: Lord of the Sky, King of the Gods; King of Olympus.

• Apollo: God of the Sun, Medicine, Music and Prophecy.

• Ares: God of War.

• Artemis: Goddess of the Moon and the Hunt.

• Athena: Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy.

• Dionysus: God of Wine, Madness, and Parties.

• Hephaestus: God of Blacksmiths and Fire.

• Hermes: God of Thieves, Travelers, Merchants and Messenger of the


Gods.

• Aphrodite: Goddess of Love and Beauty
