INTRODUCTION

 In 1954 by the Bells Laboratory in US.

 The factors like partial shading, hotspots, diode failure, etc., were affecting the efficiency of the
solar PV system.

 Various Methods for Power enhancement in partial shading:

 bypass diode

 MPPT

TCT-----Bridge Linked, Honey Comb & Sudoku Puzzle Pattern

Spiral Pattern Configuration

ADVANTAGES

 Develop the next version of Photovoltaic cell by enhancing the production of higher power in the
Photovoltaic System.
 This array configurations have higher efficiency than the any other array formation.
 Suitable of the more extensive projects.
 The Suduku pattern can disperse the partial shading more than the series-parallel array
configurations & TCT configuration whereas the Spiral pattern is further superior to the TCT
configuration.
APPLICATIONS

 In Urban and Remote areas Spiral Pattern Configured PV can be used.

 In earth orbiting Satellites High-efficiency PV has supplied power ventures.
 In photovoltaic power Station to supply large power into the national electric grid.
CONCLUSION

 A new kind of PV array configuration scheme has been proposed for enhancing the performance
of PV systems under partial shading conditions.

 The row creation for the spiral pattern array configuration is been demonstrated in this paper.

 The proposed array configuration is been analysed in simulation using MATLAB.
