Installation Procedure - Unboxing/check
 Check the out-looking of the overall package, record and report to MedCaptain when damage or
abnormal was found;
 Check the configuration list after unboxing, record and report to MedCaptain when the following
was/were found:
① Damage on the main unit & accessories;
② Not matching the configuration list.

Installation Procedure – Assembly/settings
 Assembly/settings

 Install pole clamp / handle and accessories, MP-80 need to combine cabinet and cabinet cover(Pumps
need to be installed inside when connecting to the workstation)
Make sure the power cord is well-connected;
Boot up the product;
Install syringe or consumable on the corresponding pump;
Set the settings properly according to the need of the client;
Check the performance and fill in the checking list.

Installation Procedure – Calibration
 Calibration

 Check whether the consumable provided by the client was already built-in.
① If yes, need to verify whether the accuracy is within the allowable range, calibration is
need when the accuracy is out of the range;
② If no, Customize calibration is needed;

Allowable range:
± 5% for infusion pumps
± 2% for syringe pumps
Contact MedCaptain if the accuracy cannot reach the range.

 After calibration finished,

①Product overall introduction （ Interface/touch screen/AC inlet/ combination buckle/ driver
head for syringe pump/syringe clamp/drop sensor connector/anti-free flow clamp ）
②Software interfaces introduction(Main page/Infusion Setting/Local Set/Patient File/History)
③ Key features introduction (Drop detection/Power alarm/Infusion finish alarm/Front
enlargement/Infusion mode/Lock screen/KVO)
④ Operation introduction （ Installation of syringe&consumable/Speed setting/VTBI/Start
infusion/Bolus ）
⑤Maintenance （ Driver head& Clamp reposition/Daily cleaning and maintenance)
⑥Common trouble-shooting （ air-bubble alarm/Occlusion error/Syringe installation error ect ）

Upload installation information
 After the product was successfully delivered, upload the installation information to
MedCaptain for 6 months extend warranty(Standard warranty:18 months).
