Introduction:
Organoids are advanced 3-dimensional tissue cultures grown in vitro. They represent simplified version of the organs from which they are derived. Organoid
cultures can replicate complexity of an organ under specific growth conditions. They have application in pre-clinical research, drug discovery, and precision
medicine, especially in cancer patients. Organoids can be grown from most organs including brain, heart, kidney, lungs, and the organs of the
gastrointestinal tract such as liver, pancreas, intestine, etc. We specialize in establishing and maintaining organoids from resected pancreas of cancer
patients, and the mouse model.
