Achieve the true potential and nurturing of the TATA brand In 1998 Ratan tata created a new ownership structure The power was centralized in the hands of TATA sons

Took control of diluted companies like TELCO(tata motors), TISCO(tata steel) etc.
TATA Sons took royalty from companies to use tata name Now there are two aproches to the tata brand : UMBRELLA BRAND -> TATA motors, TATA Chemicals, TCS, TATA communication and Tata steel

HALF UMBRELLA BRAND -> Hotels (taj), Voltas, Titan etc.
