The appendix is a section that is placed at the end of a thesis
and may contain materials such as tables, figures, maps,
photographs, raw data, computer programs, musical
examples, interview questions, sample questionnaires, CDs,
and any other types of material.

Why is it called Appendix A?
• An Appendix is also has a different title descriptive of its
contents other than “Appendix A” “Appendix B” and so
on.
• Appendix A can also be called Appendix 1
