THE WAR CEMETERY IN IMPHAL
-

 The War Cemetery is a dedicated wartime

cemetery for thousands of British and
Indian soldiers who defended India during
WWII. The Commonwealth War Grave
Commission maintains the place to ensure
that the men and women who died in the
wars are never really forgotten. 
 The headstones help to determine who
is buried within. It is a tranquil setting
for a walk to learn more about the war.
It's more of a historical place in Manipur
with a deep story. 
SHREE GOVINDAJI TEMPLE

 The largest temple in Imphal district is

Govindaji Temple, a Vaishnav
worshipping place dedicated to Lord
Baikunth Nath. The simple but
beautiful interiors of the temple make it
a peaceful place to contemplate. The
temple also has two gold-plated
domes and a hall.
 RED HILL

 Red Hill in Manipur is a hill to the

south of Imphal, which is considered
as a pilgrimage site for Japanese
people because it was built during
World War II and was named "India
Peace Memorial" by them.  The
location has a historical background
and links to the incidents.
