Austin Powers The

Game
In the movie Austin Powers: International Man of
Mystery Dr Evil threatens to blow up the world and
that causes Austin Powers to come out of cryostasis.
Austin has to go to different locations looking for clues
to where Dr Evil is. Austin then find out where Dr Evils
secret base is and infiltrates it, he then fights his way
through his henchmen and Fembots. Austin then
My Movie defeats Dr evil and saves the world form blowing up.
In my game I chose to do the most exiting part of the
film which is the secret base sequence. I also made it
so that my version of the secret base the agents
infiltrated the base and took Austin in the cryogenic
chamber, and made it so the base has a few trap
rooms to catch the player out and make it harder.
Then I made it so once you defeat Dr Evil you press a
button and complete the mission.
First I made concept art of my assets and
then developed them into actual usable
assets by using software such as blender
and pixilart.

Level Building

• I first drew up my level plan and where I would place


my enemies, starting room, boss and boss room. I then
downloaded a SCI-FI lab pack from the unity store for
free and built my level using the pack.
Sound development
I used software called band lab to develop my sounds and the
bossa nova pre-sets that I mixed together to create my
background music. I also used foley techniques to make my
gunshot noise by closing a stapler, I then used an FX
component called a bit crusher to make it lower quality like
the audio in Goldeneye 64 which was a big inspiration for
parts of my game. Finally to make I death sound I recorded
my self making a groaning noise.
