 What is intimate speech style?

 Intimate speech style is used in conversation

between people who are very close and are
well acquainted to each other because of
having a maximum of shared background
information.
Intimate speech style
It is characterized by an economy of
words, with a high incidence of
significant nonverbal communication.

Uses personal language codes.

Grammar is not necessary, nor does it

require the entire language.
 Examples:
Endearment, Private conversations between people
who know each other extremely well, shared meanings
exclusive to a circle, asking your family for advice
about serious matters, telling your best friend about one
of your deepest secrets.
