STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
1.What is the level of achievement of pupils in
Nelmida Elementary School in terms of general point average? 2.What are the incentives and rewards given to the pupils of Nelmida Elementary School? 3.Do the level of achievements significantly affected by the incentives and rewards given to the pupils of Nelmeda Elementary School? METHODOLOGY Research Design The researchers use quantitative method of research specifically the correlational type of study. Using this method, the researcher believe that she will be able to find out the impact of incentives and rewards to the academic achievements of the pupils in Nelmida Elementary School in terms of general point average. Locale of the Study The study will be conducted at Nelmida Elementary School located at National Highway, Upper Lubon, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The school’s mission is to protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education where students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe and motivating environment. Respondents of the Study The respondents of this study will be the pupils in grade 2 and 3 of the Nelmida Elementary School, male and female, who are included in the honor roll. The chosen respondents are from 7 to 11 years old. Research Instrument Researcher’s Made Questionnaire The researcher of the study made her very own questionnaire for the statement of the problem number three. The statements included in the questionnaire are the answer to the statement of the problem number two which are the rewards and incentives provided to the pupils by Nelmida Elementary School. Statistical Treatment Statistical procedures the data needed for this study were the score of the researchers’ made the questionnaire based on the perceived importance of the incentives and rewards by Nelmida Elementaty School for them to be able to achieve academic excellence. In determine the correlation between incentives and rewards, and academic achievement; the researchers will ask for the knowledge or expertise from the statistician to be able to arrive at the result of the study.
