 Hacienda Luisita measures 6,453 hectares and it covers 11
barangays in three municipalities.

The barangays located in Tarlac City are Asturias, Balete, Bantog,

Cutcut, Lourdes, Mapalacsiao, & Central Barangay. Barangay
Mabilog and Barangay Motrico are found in La paz, Tarlac while
Barangay Pando and Barangay Parang are in Concepcion, Tarlac.

The original farmworkers used to stay in 10 barangays, not

including Central Barangay.

According to the farmers interviewed by the organization,
Hacienda Luisita might be larger than 6,453 hectares. The
farmers claimed that there are lands which are hidden
through different schemes (such as incorrect surveying) to
avoid land distribution.
