Input Force- force you apply on the machine.

Work Input – work perform on the input


force.

Output force- a machine exerted force on the


load that needs to be moved.
Work output – the work done by the
machine.
LEVER Is a straight or curved
rigid bar that is free to
turn about a fixed
point.

1. The fulcrum or fixed point;


2. The point of effort or where work is
done on the lever ;
3. The load which is being moved.

1. Class lever 1- has its fulcrum


located between effort and load.
The effort and resistance move in
opposite directions.
Ex. Crowbars, scissors, pliers
