    Several large scale landslides have occurred on major roads in Malaysia, including Jalan Ringlet-Tanah Rata, Jalan Kuala Berang-Gua Musang, and Jalan Bukit Tunku. A recent landslide on January 3rd, 2021 blocked Jalan Baru Gap-Bukit Fraser, but caused no injuries. Past landslides have forced road closures for extended periods, such as a 2003 rock fall near Bukit Lanjan Interchange that closed the highway for 6 months.
