REFUSING DRUG ABUSE
 The term drugs is very connected with a compound that gives the effect of addiction for users.
Drugs are only dangerous when you’re addicted, and you can’t resist the urge to use them no
matter how much harm they may cause. Dangers of drug addiction/abuse not only alter and
impact physical health but it also interferes with the mental health of the drugs addicts.
 Addiction of drugs makes one loses control of their emotions. An addict often acts impulsively,
following the urge of any emotions that arise in them. When you abuse drugs for a long time, it
can cause changes in other brain chemical systems and circuits as well, such as Judgment,
Memory, Decision making, Ability to learn.
 Every time you achieve something good, your brain releases dopamine that makes you feel
pleasure. Drugs that may be addicting are targetting this by flooding the brain with dopamine and
makes you feel intense pleasure. Once your brain gets used to the extra dopamine, other things
you enjoyed, like food and hanging out with family may give you less pleasure, thus drugs
becomes a priority. Hence dealers and drug abusers must be eradicated.
 In conclusion, drugs should be used according to doctor’s prescription and should not be abused.
