SERVICE
INDIVIDUAL INVENTORY

It systematically collects, evaluates and


interprets data to identify the
characteristics and potential of every
client.
The data can be used for proper
diagnosis, predicting progress and
behaviors, accurate placement and
program evaluation.
NATURE AND PURPOSE
It enables the client to:
1. develop a deeper and fuller self-
awareness
2. discover potentials and obstacles to
full development
3. create appropriate plans for improving
the qualify of hid/her life based on this
awareness and self-understanding.

2. facilitate client’s self-awareness and decision
making
3. ascertain appropriate avenues for clients to
pursue

the different possibilities for placement
2. Have thorough knowledge on client and his needs
for placement
3. Ensures that client will benefit from placement
4. Compile updated directory of reputable institutions
and agencies for placement

5. Are able to liaise between the client and the
institution or agency where he/she would be
placed.
6. Explain to the client the rationale for placement
and what could be expected.
FOLLOW-UP SERVICE
NATURE AND PURPOSE

It helps to determine the status of the


client who received assistance and
what other assistance must be
rendered so that the service is holistic
and completed.
It can be extended to individuals who
have been counseled, referred or
placed.
CONSULTATION SERVICE
CONSULTATION

 The counselor may be sought by


parents, teachers, administrators,
spouses, for guidelines on how to
deal with a person or situation.

►As a consultant, she/he is the


helper in a triad that includes the
consultee, the person who consults
and identified client.
NATURE AND PURPOSE

It is the activity engaged in by


the individual when his/her
expertise is requested by
another party or organization.

be made.
