can come from any event or thought that makes you
feel frustrated, angry, or nervous.
• Stress is your body's reaction to a challenge or
demand. In short bursts, stress can be positive, such
as when it helps you avoid danger or meet a deadline.
But when stress lasts for a long time, it may harm
your health.

NEED OF THE STUDY
 The purpose of the study is to manage stress of employees
 The study will analyze the impact of organizational factors that
contributes stress for the employees
 The study will help to measure levels of stress of the employees
 In this developing industrial world most of the employees are more
stressed due to pressure, family background and some personal
problems
 The value of the study and possible application of its findings help to
justify its importance and social relevance.

Convenience sampling

Convenience sampling is defined as a method adopted by researchers where they


collect market research data from a conveniently available pool of respondents. It
is the most commonly used sampling technique as it’s incredibly prompt,
uncomplicated, and economical. In many cases, members are readily approachable
to be a part of the sample.

 To calculate whether there is a significant relationship between
age and level of job stress.
 To calculate whether there is a significant relationship between
experience and nature of the job
 To calculate whether there is a significant relationship between
experience and satisfaction of the job
 To calculate whether there is a significant relationship between
monthly income and personal problem disturbs the working hour.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
• Time was a major constraint.
• Some of the respondents might have answered
in a biased manner.
• The respondents were reluctant to answer due
to their busy schedule

• From the above table that 23.6% of respondents are
Strongly agree, 30.9% of respondents are Agree, 36.4% of
respondents are Neutral, 7.3% of respondents are Disagree and
1.8% of respondents are Strongly disagree

INTERPRETATION:

Person chi square value of the above table is 124.984 at 5% level of significance. P
value is less than 0.001,null hypothesis is rejected. Hence there is significant
association between age and level of job stress.

FINDINGS
• It is inferred that 70% of the respondents are from 21-25 age group and 24.5% of
the respondents are from above age group of 26-30
• It is inferred from above table 54.5% of the respondents are from male and 45.4%
of the respondents are from female
• It is inferred the majority is that 40.9% of the employee are disagree towards they
spend enough time with family and friends
• It is inferred the majority is that 31.8% of the employee are agree towards time
pressure to complete work
• It is inferred the majority is that 27.4% of employee are having irritability due to
stress
• It is inferred the majority is that 39.1% of employee are having moderate level of
stress
• It is inferred the majority is that 36.4% of employee are feeling the job is routine.
• It is inferred the majority is that 35.5% of the employee are from agree toward
completion of the work at the specified time.

SUGGESTIONS

• The organization should concentrate on key


areas likes in communication gap and avoid
work overload to resolving conflicts
• The company can concentrate on the counseling
service provided to the employees which helps
the employees to work without any tension or
problems
• They should motivate the employee to keep them
enthusiastic get the work done without stress

CONCLUSION
• Stress is defined as an adaptive response to an external
situation that results in physical, psychological and /
or behavior, for organizational participants.
• Stress can manifest itself in both a positive and
negative way. Stress is dais to be positive when the
situation offers an opportunity for one to again
something, eustress is the term used to describe
positive stress. Eustress is often viewed as motivator
since in its absence the individual lacks that ‘edge’
necessary for peak performance.
