Grant, O Lord, thy protection and in protection,

gifts. All of us are given gifts by God. Talents,
skills, strength, wisdom, material possessions,
charism. These gifts enables us to live ourselves
in love and service. God calls us to do our part
of developing them.
SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
In the Old Testament, Anointing signifies healing,
purification and strengthening and empowerment.
Example. Samuel anointed Saul and David as
King(1 Sam. 10:1, 16:13f)
In the New Testament, Christ is the “Anointed
One” perfectly fulfilling through the power of the
Holy Spirit of the threefold mission of Church.
