TITLE
To undertake study of sex ratio
and analysis of it state wise
• Our study aims to examine the current sex
ratios in each state and union territory and
compare them to the national average. We
will also be exploring the factors that
OBJECTIVE contribute to the differences in sex ratios
between states, including cultural, social, and
economic factors.
• Sex ratio is a critical demographic indicator that
measures the number of females per 1000 males
in a given population.
• A balanced sex ratio is considered to be around
950-1000 females per 1000 males.
INTRODUCTION
• However, in recent years, there has been a
growing concern about the declining sex ratios
in many parts of India.
Sex Ratio Trends In India

Conclusion
• In conclusion, the sex ratio of different states in India varies significantly,
and this variation has been observed consistently over the past few
decades. The sex ratio is an important indicator of the gender balance in a
population, and a low sex ratio can indicate gender discrimination and
bias against females. The analysis of the state-wise sex ratio can help in
identifying the areas where the gender imbalance is more prevalent, and
efforts can be made to address the issue.
