Essay in academic writing is a prose style. Usually presented in an
impersonal and dispassionate tone. It is aimed at a critical and
informed audience based on carefully reasoned and proven
knowledge; and is intended to reinforce or challenge concepts or
arguments.
ESSAY
In the official IELTS exam you are expected to spend about 40
minutes to write and essay that is not less than 250 words in length
on question asked according to the provided topic.
In your answer you mostly should give reasons for you answer
and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or
experience.
