sweet sponge cake. A customer orders 3 sponge cakes and 5 less-sweet sponge cakes. How many cups of sugar
are required to bake the cakes the customer has ordered?

2. Adam had RM40. Susan gave of her money to Adam. After giving of his money to Gopal, Adam still had
RM350. Find the total amount Susan had originally.

Gopal’s money =1/8


So, Adam’s money =7/8 = RM350
Amount of adam’s money = 8/8 = RM400
Susan give 1/3 her money = RM400-RM40 = RM360
Hence, total amount Susan’s money = RM360 x 3
=RM1080
