Classroom Standards
1. Don’t be shy. Be participative in the class discussion.
2. Respect each other
3. Don’t talk when someone is talking in front. Pay Respect
4. Put away your cellphones/turn off your cellphones
during class hours.
5. Raise your hands if you want to speak/answer.

Activity: Four Pics- Two words
Activity: Identify ME!

Directions: In your group, you will be given set of

triangles then you will identify the vertices, angles and
sides of each triangle. Write your answer on the table
provided. Then, answer the following guide questions
for your presentation. Choose one representative to
present your output. You will be given 5 minutes to
finish the tasks.
Activity: Identify ME!
Guide Questions for Presentation

1. How did you identify the vertices,

angles and sides of each triangle?

2. How would you define angle?

3. How about the vertex?
4. In geometry, what is meant by the side?
Angle – a pair of rays that have a common
endpoint, provided that the rays do not lie on the
line.

Vertex – in an angle, it is the common endpoint

of two rays. But in polygon, it is the common
endpoint of two sides.

Sides- In an angle, The sides are the rays that

form the angle. In a polygon, the sides are the
segments that form a polygon.

TRIANGLE
 is a closed, two-
dimensional shape
with three sides. It
is also a polygon.
 A triangle has three
sides, three
vertices, and three
angles.
DEFINITION OF CORRESPONDENCE

Pairing the parts of one group with the parts

of another group is called correspondence.
Correspondence uses the notation “↔”
Note:

In naming congruent triangles, the

order of the letters representing the
vertices of one triangle shall be
written in the same order as their
corresponding vertices in the other
triangle.
