Mission and Vision Statements
Here at Highland Home we strive to meet all of our students needs by a
unanimous goals of meeting our Vision and Mission Statements as
follows:

Promote the effective use of technology in the service of teaching and learning. (ASIL 4.5)

We willutilize a technological based intervention program called iready. This


includes professional development for the program interventions as well.

Students will receive ipads for grades 1-2 (Technology budget)
Classlinks will be utilized manageable access in order for teachers and
students to be able to utilize the online programs. (technology budget)
o Promote instructional practices using technology that are consistent
with knowledge of child learning and development, effective pedagogy,
and the needs of each student—Include at least 3 strategies to support
this. (ASIL 4.3)

The iready intervention program will utilize a tiered


approach and level students based on their current ability
while push students higher. The program sends immediate
feedback to teachers with suggested tier one and two
strategies.
Design a professional development plan that will be
differentiated for the various learning levels of the
teachers and staff. (ASIL 6.3)

Behavior Management- kindergarten, 1st and 2nd - with the new types of
students we are getting in, these teachers need support. They will be given
tolls and a program to help the m help students regulate their behavior.

Content knowledge 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades With the literacy and numeracy
act, students will need extra support from their teachers with the
fundamentals of Reading and Math. (Professional Development with Tech)
o Provide opportunities for collaboration and
