ASSERTION
What is Assertion?
 is an artistic approach or technique expressing a strong declaration, a
forceful or confident and positive statement regarding a belief or a fact.
Often, it is without proof or any support. Its purpose is to express ideas
or feelings directly.

For example:
1. “I have put my every effort to complete this task
today.”
2. “My city is the best place to live.”
TYPES OF ASSERTION

Basic Assertion Escalating Assertion

Emphatic Assertion Language Assertion


BASIC  is a simple and honest
statement for expressing
ASSERTION feelings, and beliefs.

For example:
“I felt really sad because I was not allowed to join
the feast last night.”
“In my opinion, we have the Tbravest

“My mother is the best cook ever!”
EMPHATIC  expresses sympathy to
someone and it has two parts:
