 Make all executive decision on behalf of the state government
 Appoint cm &other cabinet serve as a pleasure of the governor

 May create rules efficent for the state government work & its
distribution among ministries
 Appoints state advocate general &decides it tenure

 Authority to recommend state emergency to the president

 Request any information relating to state affairs as well as

legislative suggestion ( article-167)

 Serves as chancellor and appoints Vcs

ADMINISTRATION OF THE SCHEDULE

 Authority to declare an area a schedule area
 Authority to decide whether certain act is applicable to
the schedule area or knot if so decides whether such act
should be applied for modification or knot

STATE ADMINISTRATION DURING THE
PRESIDENT RULE

government can take direct control of the state
