RULES & REGULATIONS FOR
MOVEMENT ON APRON

MARKING OF VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT

• All equipment be painted Aviation Yellow
• All the vehicles be painted with a single conspicuous color, which shall be aviation
yellow for service vehicle and red for emergency vehicles, company’s color and marking
• The operational vehicles including Rescue-Van of the CAA required to operate on the
movement or maneuvering area shall be painted in checkered pattern in Orange and
White color
• Nobody will operate on maneuvering area without the permission of Aerodrome
controller
• All vehicles / equipment along with company logo shall remain properly painted (Not
Faded), failing which penalty shall be imposed as per apron rules

FIRE PREVENTION
• Combustible liquids shall not be stored in the vehicle or in the offices at the
airport. The items may be stored in such places if the necessary precautionary
• No person shall keep any oiled waste, waste oil, cleaning rags or substances liable
to aircraft on the ground, near any fueling unit, hanger or workshop, or building or

SECURITY
• Responsibility of the airline operators, handling agents that the premises, maintenance
hangers, and other areas allotted to them shall not provide any access to the airport
• Their vehicles and equipment shall not provide means/access to unauthorized persons
to the airport-restricted areas or bring any items dangerous to flight safety, buildings
• Their officials shall not bring in any explosives, arms and contraband items in the
