  INTRODUCTION
Rural agricultural work experience ( RAWE) is a programme for imparting quality, practical and
production oriented education for agricultural degree to understand the rural situations, status of
agricultural technologies adopted by farmers, prioritize the farmers problems.

OBJECTIVE OF RAWE
1. To understand the rural setting in relation to agriculture and allied activities.
2. To get the opportunity for on hands practical training.
3. To develop communication skills using extension teaching method in transfer to technology.
4. To understand the technologies followed by farmers.

 It was founded by R.K. Sanayaima Singh in 2004, located at Takyel
Industrial Estate.
 It also has a Chemical laboratory unit and a microbiology laboratory
unit.
 CONCLUSION

 The RAWE programme was completed on 27th January 2022.

 The RAWE program is an exposure to the principles of “Learning by doing” and
“Seeing is believing”, which provide a direction to the students to think and act on
their own. It also provides an opportunity to the students to develop their
knowledge attitude and skill to graduate out as an expert and contribute in holistic
development in the field of agriculture.
