What is PROPAGANDA?

• Propaganda is the spreading of rumors,false or
correct information or idea in order to influence
the opinion of the socitey.
• Propaganda is material that aims to push a
particular political point of view or agenda, often
by using biased or misleading information.

news and journalism, government,
advertising, entertainment,
education, and activism.
What is BANDWAGON Propaganda?

• Thiscommon propaganda method
is used when the speaker makes an
appeal that”everyone else doing
it,and so should you”.
BANDWAGON PROPAGANANDA
• This propaganda technique plays on the idea and it
targets the belief of a particular type of group and
encourages them to do or follow what others are
doing.
Example of BANDWAGON:
• Marlonis not a fan of social media because
he prefers to have a face-to-face
conversation. However most of Marlon’s
friends have joined social media sites,so
Marlon decides to create an account as well.

• Is the tendency for people to adopt certain behaviors,
styles, or attitudes simply because others are doing so.
• Is when a person starts doing something because
everybody else seems to be doing it.
Example:Everyone is using product X,shouldn’t you be
using it too?
