INTRODUCTION OF THE HOTEL CROWNE,PLAZA

The only IHG hotel in Deira,Crowne Plaza is situated in the heart of Dubai near Dubai International Airport and within
easy acess of the business and commercial districts of Deira.
It offer room with best scenario where guest can appreciate view of pool or enjoy a drink at the bar. Sisa on the poolbar
site,premium bedding experience, guaranteed wake up call, quite zone,aromatherapy and free wifi are some of the
services available at this elegent five star hotel. it also offer swimming pool, a sauna bath and valet parking. The air-
conditioned room at the hotel are elegent at the offer a refrigerator and a minibar. All features there own bathroom with
robes and ameniites.
Guest of crowne plaza are welcome to spice island restaurant or try Italian dishes at briosso restaurant option at the hotel
include harry’s bar and hero’s pool bar.
OBJECTIVES OF THE INTERNSHIP

• To helps the develop the skill and knowledge through the theory of working environment.
• Internship will provide students opportunity to understand informal organization interrelationship.
• Internship will provide career developing opportunity.
• Assist the student's development of employer valued skills such as Teamwork, Communication and
attention to detail.
• To help to choose the interest field of the career.
• To learn how the different department does their work.

• How to operate restaurant in peak and slow hours.
• Handling the guest during breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner.
• How to deal guest complain.
• Using of the micros each and every outlet of food and beverages.
• Present the bills and billing procedure.
• Banquet functional services.
• Requisition restaurant items for service.
• Room cleaning procedure.
• Handling the housekeeping desk.
RECOMMENDATION

Firstly, I would like to recommended that the management of the hotel is not quite strong in terms of the
effective utilization of its resources like man, money, materials, minutes and machine, so called 5MS. They
need to utilized them properly with in right time and place so that the efficiency of the hotels operational as
well as administrative activities become strong insuring the right quality of the product and services at the
same time.
Secondly, we have been learning so many theories regarding the employee welfare in our high school and
university courses, which I found almost full in the crowne plaza hotel. so what I like to suggest to the
management, human resources and chairman of the board that they need to focus on the employs welfare
programmed in order to deliver and efficient services to the guest so as to achieve a high level of guest
satisfaction because a happy employee can automatically make their guest happy.
