Listening and Questions

Each slide includes a Higher Level Thinking Question and a listening sample to go
with the question. Samples are from www.jwpepper.com as their quality is good
and videos from YouTube are usually second rate. Feel free to exchange a song for
one you want your students to hear. My groups have sung several of these songs.
It’s a great way to hear some new music.

Your choice as to if you want students to copy the question and whether they
answer in complete sentences. Whatever fits your routine will work with these. The
point is to get your students listening and thinking critically.


