    1936 Olympics

    Berlin won the vote of about 10 condenders
    including Barcelona in Spain. Barcelona came
    second with a total of 16 votes while Berlin
    Choosing won with a whopping 43 votes. This would
    berlin have signified Germany’s return to the global
    stage after its defeat in WW1. This would have
    taken place 2 years after the Nazi’s assumed
    power.
    How was it promoted
    Hitler and the Nazi’s used the Olympics as an opportunity to spread
    propaganda throughout Germany. They showed a strong and united
    Germany with multicultural athletes and strong bonds. This was all to
