Introduction

• The Greening of HRM incorporates HR’s policies & practices that relates with the 03 sustainability pillars
with environment, social balance & economic equilibrium. It is the duty of the current generation as well as
the HRM managers raises the awareness with the younger generations as well as the people working for the
organization about Green HRM, the green movement, the utilization of natural resources to assists
corporations in maintaining an appropriate environment and saving natural resources for the generation that
will come after us, which is what is meant by sustainable development.

• In the field of human resource management (HRM), both professionals and academics have paid noticeably
more attention to the role that green HRM practices play in fostering green activities and behaviours in the
workplace. In particular, the direct relationship b/w green human resources practices & the organization's
environmental performance have noticeably the investigated. These practices include green recruitment &
selection, green training & development, green performance management, green rewards and incentives, and
green employee involvement (Eva et al. 2019).
Background
• The production of huge amounts of metals and textiles by the application of mechanical processes
that involve the utilisation of water and steam. The use of electricity, oil, and gas all emerged during
the second phase of the industrial revolution (IR), which was preoccupied with the concept of
factories and workplaces. In addition, the industries of steel and synthetic materials, as well as new
communication and transportation networks, came into being during this time. The breakthroughs in
robots and nuclear energy were the primary topics of discussion during the third international
conference (IR). It is common knowledge that all of the previous industrial revolutions have been
accompanied not only by changes in the social structure, but also by the appearance of new
technologies and investments, and most importantly, by a shift in the way that people live their lives.
• This change in lifestyle has been one of the most significant effects of these revolutions. Mind-set
As a direct result of the combined effects of all of these elements, the quality of life in general has
improved. The start of the industrial revolution is considered by some to mark the beginning of a
new age of mechanisation. The first signs of what would become known as the Industrial Revolution
appeared in England in the 18th century. The United Kingdom was a colonial power at the time, and
it used its colonies as a means to gain resources such as silk, tobacco, sugar, cotton, and gold
through exploitation. At this period, the United Kingdom was also an important colonial power (Sun
et al. 2022).
Problem Statement

• Research in the area of employee commitment mostly conducted in the region of Europe.
• Lack of studies on Industrial Revolution link with green consumer behavior be enhanced to
address the issues surrounding their environmental performance.
• Even if according the context, the research conduct to solve the problem in deficiency for available
studies, particularly based on moderating of green employee empowerment.
• The Green Consumer behavior impacts estimation method, to determine its impact on
environmental performance for the province of Pakistan.
Research Gap

• There is a lack of research on the flaws in Pakistan's environmental performance sector

and an approach to the success of green consumer behavior, particularly the
sustainability of green leadership to a person to assist them in becoming self-employed
or growing a green training and green creativity. There is also a lack of research on the
flaws in Pakistan's environmental performance sector. Research is required in this field
for the purpose of determining environmental performance in rural areas that are
isolated and underdeveloped. It also emphasizes the urgent requirement for free
surveys to be carried out in all the relevant regions of Pakistan (Khan et al. 2022).
Research Question

• How does Green Consumer Behavior affect the Environmental Performance?

• How does Green Leadership affect the Environmental Performance?
• How does Green Training affect the Environmental Performance?
• How does Green Creativity affect the Environmental Performance?
• How does Green Empowerment affect the Environmental Performance?
Significance of the Study
• This study gives practitioners a boost the knowledge about Green Consumer Behavior and
Environmental Performance, also improving the understanding of how Green Leadership affects
Environmental Performance (Naz et al.2021). Therefore, this study contributes to the literature on
Environmental Performance, analyzing its background, and presenting the impact of Green
Consumer Behavior through Green Training affects and Green Creativity. It underwrites by
research on engagement. Concepts related to ‘engagement’ are gaining popularity in the marketing
literature reflected by a wide range of concepts Consumer Behavior (Yusoff et al.2020).
• There is limited research examining Consumer Behavior relationships in Environmental
Performance. We contribute to this stream of literature by providing a lens through which to view
and measure the relationship between Consumer Behavior relationships in Environmental
Performance and search engine creative training. Specifically. We identify three dimensions of
Consumer Behavior relationships in Environmental Performance an affiliation conversation and
responsiveness and demonstrate that both consumers Consumer Behavior efforts are important in
influencing search engine advertising effectiveness Consumer Behavior relationships in
Environmental Performance such as search engine advertising should not be considered
independent marketing tools but part of an integrated Consumer behavior (Goldstein et al. 2012).
Hypotheses
• H1: There is a significant relationship between Green consumer behavior and environmental
performance.

• H4: There is a significant relationship between Green creativity and environmental performance
• H5: There is a significant relationship between Green consumer behavior and environmental
performance by the moderating effect of Green empowerment.
• H6: There is a significant relationship between Green Transformational leadership and
environmental performance by the moderating effect of Green empowerment.
• H7: There is a significant relationship between Green creativity and environmental performance by
the moderating effect of Green empowerment.
Theoratical Framework
Literature Review
• They are the ones responsible for establishing and enforcing those rules that are good for the environment in
order to build a green environment, and they are the ones who are accountable for doing so. If the human
resource were not supported and sustainable policies were not put into place, we believe that going green
would be a tremendous obstacle to conquer. Even though a significant portion of the existing body of
literature is devoted to the topic of green HRM, there is still a great deal of uncertainty regarding the most
effective way for businesses all over the world to implement green HR management policies in order to
achieve a green corporate culture. This is the case despite the fact that a significant portion of the existing
body of literature is devoted to the subject of green HRM. The term "green HRM" has emerged as a popular
catchphrase in the business sector in recent years, and the importance of this concept is increasing at an
exponential rate as more time passes.
• In more recent research studies, this expression has also established itself as a topic of significant interest.
This is due to the fact that people's understanding of sustainable development and environmental
management has been continuously expanding from one day to the next all throughout the world. In the
modern world, the concept of "Green HRM" refers not only to an awareness of issues pertaining to the
environment, but also to the social and economic well-being of the company, as well as the well-being of its
employees in a sense that is more general. In other words, it encompasses more than just environmental
concerns.
Underpinning Theory
Recourse Based view Theory
• Resource-based view (RBV) theory has been discussed in strategic management and Information
Systems (IS) for many years. Although many extensions and elaborations of RBV have been
published over the years, to a considerable extent, most of them have identified critical resources and
investigated the impact of resources on competitive advantage and/or other organization issues such
as corporative environmental performance, profitability, and strategic alliance. Nevertheless, the
orchestration of resources seems to influence these results. There still remains the issue of resource
relations in an organization, the internal interaction of resources, especially IT resources with non-IT
resources and the process of IT resource interaction with other resources within a firm which we have
called resource impressionability. To fill these gaps in IS literature, we propose the new concept
of resource orchestration in order to answer resource impressionability issues during implementation
of IT projects.

Conclusion
It is the desire of every country to get the status of developed nation and Pakistan is
one of them where education can play a vital role in achieving this desire. The
industrial sector of Pakistan is far behind and needs improvements in various
aspects especially regarding industries. Similarly, Pakistani government is the
largest employer of the country just like other countries. Economic development of
any country depends upon the effective and efficient functioning of the public
sector organizations. Besides these, there is an extensive need/gap of studying and
investigating phenomenal linkage of Human Resource Management Practices with
organizational performance in industrial Institutions (HEIs) of Pakistan. So current
study was an attempt to narrow this gap by taking under consideration HRM
practices namely recruitment & selection, training & development, participation &
involvement & performance appraisal against organizational performance. The
targeted population industry to analyse the industrial change. Sample was drawn
by applying Yamane (1969) formula.
