Cultural appropriation is the appropriation of religious of

cultural elements from one culture by people from another
culture

In targets a wide variety of cultural elements, including

fashion, hairstyles, symbols, language, and music.

another fashion item, there is concern that the original
meaning of their culture will be lost or distorted.

By its very nature, incorporating a different culture is an act

people from the majority group to misappropriate the culture
of people from the minority group? The reason is that those
who engage in cultural theft are not only the majority, but
also those who have historically been powerful and are still
dominant and in a strong position in society today. And it is
because such people are said to trample on the culture of
those in a more "weak" position to suit themselves.

This article is about non-native Americans using feathered
headdress for fashion or entertainment purposes. Example,
William use this in his video was called "Happy" and it
became controversial on media social. For native Americans,
this hat is an important feathered headdress because it is
relevant to their history. Schilling- a native American- he said
that "it's not like I'm mad at these people. It's just that it hurts.
I feel physical pain when i see these things"

Cultural appropriation differs from acculturation, assimilation, or equal cultural
exchange in that this appropriation is a form of colonialism. When cultural
elements are copied from a minority culture by members of a dominant culture,
and these elements are used outside of their original cultural context ─ sometimes
even against the expressly stated wishes of members of the originating culture –
the practice is often received negatively.
