1. Organizational Profile

 I have worked in the company named SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND SOFTWARE SOLUTION
(SASS). SASS is the Software Development and Website Design Company in Nepal.
 Since 2005 A.D., SASS has been a software development innovator providing full
cycle high quality services to its customers locally and internationally. SASS is
expert in the development, customization and integration of the complex enterprise
level solutions offering a well- balanced blend of technology skills, domain
knowledge, hands-on experience, effective methodology, and passion of IT.

2. About Work Station

 I worked as an intern in the software company, SASS and it was the project on
hospital management system.
 While Working in SASS, I was sent to Bakulahar Ratnanagar Hospital, Tandi,
Chitwan with Mr. Narendra Gupta who was the coordinator and the software
developer of the company. I was sent as a support person and my work was to
assist him in the hardware related works and some sorts of the backend
coding in the database with MySQL.
 The hospital is under the Nepal Government and for running it is assisted by
the INGO of the Switzerland. This project is also given by the INGO and we
have to report all the progress to Dr. Ruth Gonseth. She was the head of the
Head of the hospital project and also the guest skin specialist for the
hospital.
3. Technology

 Microsoft Visual Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft.

It is used to develop computer programs, as well as websites, web apps, web services
and mobile apps. Visual Studio uses Microsoft software development platforms such as
Windows API, Windows Forms, Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Store and
Microsoft Silverlight. It can produce both native code and managed code.
 Visual Studio includes a code editor supporting IntelliSense (the code completion
component) as well as code refactoring. The integrated debugger works both as a
source-level debugger and a machine-level debugger. Other built-in tools include a
code profiler, forms designer for building GUI applications, web designer, class
designer, and database schema designer. It accepts plug-ins that enhance the
functionality at almost every level—including adding support for source control systems
(like Subversion and GIT) and adding new toolsets like editors and visual designers for
domain-specific languages or toolsets for other aspects of the software development
lifecycle (like the Team Foundation Server client: Team Explorer).

 With working with SASS, I knew about all the phases of the software
development lifecycle used to build an HMIS(Hospital Management
Information System).
 The project HIMS is for computerizing the working in the hospital. It is a great
improvement over the manual system. The computerization of the system has
speed up the process. In the current system the front office managing is very
slow. The hospital management system was thoroughly checked with the
dummy data and was found to be very reliable. The software takes care of all
the requirement of the hospital and is capable to provide easy and efficient
storage of the information related to patients that comes up to the hospital
along with the record of the medical and non-medical staff and
administrative works.
9. Future Enhancement

 The proposed system is hospital management system. We can enhance this

system by including more facilities like payroll.
 Providing such features enable the user to include more comments into the
system.
