Magnetotherapy
Magnetotherapy
Magnetotherapy
INTRODUCTION
• When the magnet is kept in contact with a part of the body, the cells and
organs of the part regain their natural vibratory frequency.
• The electromagnetic waves from magnets are capable of very deep and
extensive penetration and reach almost every cell of concerned part of body.
• When magnets are placed near the body, the regeneration process in that
part is stimulated.
• New, healthy ones replace old worn out cells.
• It helps to heal the wound faster and suppresses the activities of harmful
bacteria causes disease.
EFFECTS OF MAGNETIC FIELD ON WATER
• Magnetizing by north
• Pole Magnet faces the north
• direction Use: Massage medium
in general weakness,
• Paralysis, Baldness
SOUTH POLE
• Strong magnets are to be used on empty stomach. So best time for treatment
is early morning or early evening
• There is no serious side effect of magnetic treatment, so it can be taken any
time of the day.
ADVANTAGES
• Uses electrolytes to assist with the electrical signaling mechanism that take
place between cells.
• Many time body opposes these medicines on the other hand Magnetotherapy
is an external mode of treatment which doesn't play with the various
chemicals and enzymes present inside the body and it is also safe and
harmless.
• It's result can be seen immediate.
• It is very simple.
• It can be employed for any patients of age and sex
• No preparation is essential before starting the treatment.
• It needs very little care in form of clear sterilization.
• There is no need to go to clinic; treatment can be taken at home, no particular
time required for treatment, can be taken any time of the day.
• Once purchased, the magnets can be used for years, because they retain their
power for long time.
• Magnetic treatment is not addictive. No harm arises up abruptly.
• Magnets can be used to disperse fatigue and irritation.
• All together magnets can prolong life and prevent senility.
PRESERVATION OF MAGNETS
• Magnet should not be allowed to clash with each other or to fall, otherwise
steel magnet may loose their power and ceramic magnets may break.
• Magnet should preferably be kept in a wooden case or wooden cupboard,
when not in use.
• Steel Magnets should not be allowed to get wet to prevent them from resting.
Similarly, the part of the body to which the magnet is to be applied should be
completely wiped and free of sweat.
• Stationary (Permanent magnets): are fully charged with electric current and
remain permanently magnetized.(Earrings, bracelets, necklace or pellets)
• Unipolar: discrete magnets arranged with same pole facing patient's skin.
• Bipolar: both North & South poles facing patient’s skin.
MODES OF APLICATION:
