Climate Graphs – Your Turn

TASK: Use the step by step instructions and data to draw a climate graph for Moscow in Russia.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Using a pencil, plot the temperature data using crosses, reading the y-axis on
the left-hand side.
2. Using a red pencil, join up your points.
a. After you have joined up your points, you could rub out your crosses to
make your final graph look nicer.
3. Using a pencil and a ruler, plot the precipitation bars, reading the y-axis on the
right-hand side.
a. Make sure you leave a small amount of space between each bar, rather
than having them touching.
4. Using a blue pencil, colour in your precipitation bars.
5. Finally give your graph a title
