Bharat was the son of his second and favorite wife, Kaikeyi. While Ram was all set for coronation, his step-mother, Dasharatha’s second wife, Kaikeyi, wanted her son, Bharata, to become king. Before the aged king could hand over his crown to his eldest son Ram, Dasharatha was destined to die. And instead of being crowned king of Ayodhya, Ram was sent into exile in the forest for fourteen years by an intrigue in the palace and a quirk of fate.. Thus, Lord Ram,Sita and Laxman went to live in the forest. Lord Ram along with Sita and Laxman stayed in the forest for 14 years. When Lord Ram and Sita returned to Ayodhya,they were welcomed by the people of Ayodhya with lighted diyas as it was an amavasya night and there was no moon in the sky. People do pooja of gold and silver coins on Dhanteras to welcome Goddess laxmi They perform Chopda Pujan on Diwali day They burst fire crackers to get rid of the evil spirit. Children also burst fire crackers on Diwali day. Families get together to celebrate Diwali-the festival of light. The World Wears A Festive Look, In All Gaiety And Grandeur. But this festival has it consequences too. Fire crackers cause a lot of noise pollution and air pollution. We must take lot of precautions while bursting crackers. Always burst crackers in open grounds.
Children should burst
them in presence of an adult. Being careless may cause fatal accidents like loss of vision, or deafness. Children below the age group of 14 years are forced to work in the fire cracker industry to make fire crackers. They have to use poisonous gun powder to fill in the crackers and earn their livelihood.
