• Business intelligence is a set of mathematical models and analysis
methodologies that exploit the available data to generate
information & knowledge useful for complex decision- making
process.
• i.e. it is a broad category of applications and technologies for
gathering , storing, analysing & providing access to data to help
clients make better decisions.
BUSINESS ARCHITECTURE
• Business architecture is the bridge between the enterprise business
model and the enterprise business model and the enterprise strategy
on one side , and the business functionality of the corporate business
or organization on the other side .
• Data warehouse is a core component of business intelligence
architecture .Business intelligence systems and tools make use of data
warehouse , while data warehouse acts as a foundation for BI
B.I and data warehouse have different goals but can not function with
each other
