fast-changing digital environment?
Digital Environment:
A digital environment is an integrated communications
environment where digital devices communicate and manage the
content and activities within it.
Examples: Digital environments within organizations include email
server systems, wed-based application and applications etc.
Digital Skills:
Digital skills are defined as the ability to find, evaluate, use, share, and create
content using digital devices, such as computers and smartphones.
Examples: digital marketing, social media marketing, and data analytics etc.
 Skills Managers need to have in current digital environment:
1) Digital Literacy:
It means that managers must be aware of how to produce text, images, audio etc.
it refers to the Indivisuals ability to find, evaluate & communicate through typing
and other media on various digital platforms.

2) Data Analysis:
It is the process of analyzing the past and future and making decisions based on
that analysis. It can help companies better understand their customers, create
content strategies as well as develop products etc.

3) Programming Skills:
It means the managers must be aware of the art of using various applications &
programs such as all Microsoft applications ( powerpoint, excel etc), wed
development plus SQL etc.
4) Digital Marketing Skills:
The term digital marketing refers to the use of digital channels to market products and
services in order to reach consumers. Including online video, display ads, search engine
marketing, paid social ads, social media posts, social media marketing, content writing,
and much more.

5) Cybersecurity:
Cybersecurity is the protection of internet-connected systems such as hardware, software
and data from cyberthreats. The practice is used by individuals and enterprises to protect
against unauthorized access to data centers and other computerized systems.

6) Email marketing:
It allows you to target particular groups of customers or even specific individuals.
Offering individual customers special birthday deals on merchandise or services is one
way to do this. A restaurant, for instance, might send an email to customers on their
birthdays offering 50% off an entree

7) Enterprise mobility management:


It is the set of people, processes and technology focused on managing mobile devices,
wireless networks, and other mobile computing services in a business context.
8) Taking initiative:
Taking initiative examples include taking on a job when no one wants to, going
above and beyond for a customer to improve customer satisfaction, doing more than
what was asked on a project, and working extra hours, so your team meets a deadline.

9) Social selling:
It is a sales and marketing strategy that prioritizes building relationships with
potential buyers and partners on social media
It is a lead-generation technique where salespeople directly interact with their
prospects on social media platforms

10) Content marketing:


It is a marketing strategy used to attract, engage, and retain an audience by creating
and sharing relevant articles, videos, podcasts, and other media. This approach
establishes expertise, promotes brand awareness, and keeps your business top of mind
when it's time to buy what you sell.
