How to create

Newsletter on CRM
TO DO:

1. Create a Campaign for your activity


2. Create a Marketing list to whom send the newsletters and link it to the
campaign
3. Choose the type of communication you want to use, and ask HQ for
graphics template, and approve it
4. Create the CAMPAIGN ACTIVITY, inserting the graphic and the date of
the distribution of the newsletter
5. Test e-mail: Use «Send E-Mail» button to send a test email
6. Distribute to send the Email based on the setup
7. Do statistics based on KPIs.
Create the Campaign
Create the Marketing Campaign
• Name
• Campaign Type (Direct Marketing: Newsletter| Event: Webinar| Exhibitions: shows)
• Actual Start / End

You can build a marketing list, connected to the


campaign activity, based on any field or group of
fields in the database. This makes you
exponentially more effective and efficient in
your marketing activities and allows you to send
better-promotional marketing campaigns.

Click the three dots next to the Marketing List and select” Add Existing marketing List “

1) You can use an existing marketing list selecting “ Select record”
2) You can create new Marketing List selecting – “New Record”

Fill the mandatory field:
• Name
• List Type ( Static or Dynamic)
• Target At ( Account/ Leads/ Contacts)

You can move in the “ Members “ sections only after filling in the mandatory field and saving the page

To Add the Members there are two options:

1) You can add the members of your marketing list clicking on “ Add or Add existing Lead”

2)You can select the members of the marketing list directly from the leads. You can select them in the main view or you can use a filter to make a specific
segmentation.

Here an example of a marketing list based


on the field "main market segment" in the
database.
But another example can be the one with the
leads related to an exhibition: we remind you
that a lead can be part of different marketing
lists.

The marketing list is fundamental


because it permits to send promotional
campaigns to a specific segment of your
mailing list and deliver special offers
which bring value to subscribers.

The more your MARKETING LIST is


specific the more your communication
is efficient

categories and features. Remind you
that a lead can be part of different
marketing lists.

Create the Email Template
Yo u can create the email Template click on the left “ Email Include “ . You can do this activity just in the “ marketing “ Configuration . You have to create new template
before going into Campaign Activity.

-You can select one of the approved templates
-Or you can create a new one

Use the Editor to create your template . You can add pictures, text , icons.

Clicking on the “Prepare to Parse” button, it will open a pop-up window in which it will be possible to see the list of URL inside the Email Include
and save them as Link in CRM.
Click “ Confirm” and Then, the email include must be sent for approval. After this is done, then send it out to the users’ marketing list. To use the
template is necessary that is approved.
Create the Email Template
You can check your template in the list of « Approved»

You can edit again your template just if you click « edit « and this make it your template in « unapproved « status so after the changes you have o
approve it another time.

Click the three dots next to “ Campaign activities “ and select “ New campaign Activity “.

Check if you are in the right form “ CAMPAIGN ACTIVITY “ – MARP EMAIL MARKETING
Fill the mandatory fields:
• Name
• Distribution Type
• Distribution Start Date is the date from which the system will start to create the emails
• Send Start Date is the date from which the system will start send the emails
• Sender (must be noreply marposs email)
• Subject
Create the Email Template
Click “Chose Template”:
-Select a template that you already approved with the procedure “ Email template “ – And click “ Add”
-Create new Template to add to your campaign activity-

-Select a template that you already approved with the procedure “ Email template “ – And click “ Add”
-Create new Template to add to your campaign activity
To send a test and check the email click “ Send Email”

Distribute and Send Email

1)Request Approval
This will allow the enabled persons to Approve the Campaign Activity

2)Approve
The Campaign Activity is now ready to be sent

3)Distribute
The Campaign Activity will be Distributed
The system will generate the email based on the
Distribution Start Date and will send them based on
the Send Start Date.

1.Access the Campaign used to perform the Email Marketing activity.

2.Open the Campaign activity related to the Campaign .
