Introduction
• Sanna Vohra is the Founder of The Wedding Brigade, an online
portal where users can discover the best wedding content, buy curated
wedding fashion, and book verified vendors and services. She was
elected to Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 List of 2018, and The Wedding
Brigade was recognized as one of the Top 50 Ventures in India by the
Smart CEO Startup 50 2017 Awards, in the consumer brand category.
Previously, Sanna worked at Morgan Stanley as an investment banker.
Sanna graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna cum Laude from Brown
University (Boston) with a BA in Economics and Development
Studies.

• Founded in 2014, The Wedding Brigade is an inspiration, planning,
shopping and services portal for Indian weddings, with a best-in-class
free concierge service to make your dream wedding a reality. It also
offers free online wedding planning tools and it recently expanded its
venue business by creating and operating wedding banquets. The
Wedding Brigade has raised over $2.6mm through key investors such
as Blume and AET Fund.
Her Journey
• Sanna discovered her passion for building businesses during her
college years. At Brown, she co-founded a restaurant discounting
company for college students which soon went on to become the
largest student-run enterprise on campus at the time. While on a trip to
India to attend a wedding, she realized all the unnecessary hassles and
inefficiencies that go into planning a wedding and wanted to create a
streamlined solution for the multi-billion dollar wedding industry.
Soon enough, she launched The Wedding Brigade. Today, the
company has expanded to over 50 employees in over 15 countries.
