during practice and warmups, having carts
makes holding and organizing the much

have some sort of volleyball cart.

surface where players are often forced to
dive and slide. Volleyball knee pads help
protect one of the most vulnerable body
parts from repeated physical contact with
the ground.
Elbow pads similar to knee pads, elbow
pads are a very common piece of
equipment in the game of volleyball.

performance on the court. They also
support that reduces the chance of
injury. This helps volleyball athletes
have confidence in their movements
and focus on the game.

piece of equipment used in volleyball.
They are a part of every uniform and
are worn by every player on the court.
Volleyball shorts provide optimal
performance benefits for volleyball
players, and come in a few different
types.

great tool for volleyball players to use in
order to fine-tune their skills.
Volleyball is a very intense
sport that requires a lot of
athleticism. It takes a plenty of
practice to become skilled and
even then, injuries can not
always be avoided.
• Volleyball net and poles
• An official volleyball net will measure 32 feet long by 39 inches tall. For men's
volleyball, it will be suspended eight feet off the ground, while for women it
will be seven feet and four inches.
• The net is held up by poles. Typical volleyball net poles will measure between
10.5 feet and 16 feet in height. Made from steel or aluminium, they are
designed to withstand any strains and tension throughout the course of the
match.
NETS AND POSTS

• The net is 2.43m high for men and 2.24m high for women. It is placed vertically over the centre line. It is 1m
wide and 9.5m‑10m long and is 10cm square black mesh.

The height of the net is measured from the centre of the playing court.

The antenna is a flexible rod, 1.8m long and 10mm in diameter and made of fibreglass or similar material. It
is fastened on opposite sides of the net. The top of the antenna extends 80cm above the net and is marked
with 10cm stripes of contrasting colour, usually red and white.

ground without wires.
Volleyball penalty cards
