STEPS IN CONVERSION PROCESS
Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) in Pakistan follows a strict production procedure to ensure that all
vehicles produced at its assembly plant meet the high standards of Toyota. Here is an overview of the
production procedure:
2. Raw Materials:
The next step is the procurement of raw materials, such as steel, plastic and electronics, which are used
to produce the vehicles. These raw materials are sourced from local and international suppliers and are of
highest quality to ensure the production of high-quality vehicles.
3. Stamping:
The stamping process is the first step in the assembly of the vehicle body. In this process, steel sheets
are stamped into various body parts and components using large stamping presses.

4. Welding:
Next, the stamped parts are welded together to form the main body structure of the vehicle.
5. Painting:
Once the body of the vehicle is assembled, it is then painted. This process is done in a state-of-the-art
painting facility that uses high-quality paints and advanced spraying techniques to ensure a smooth and
even finish on the vehicles.
7. Final assembly:
After the body and paint, the engines and transmission are assembled to the final vehicle. Then other
components such as seats, electrical systems, and other accessories are added.

8. Inspection and Testing:
The final step in the production process is the inspection and testing of the vehicles. Each vehicle is
thoroughly inspected and tested to ensure that it meets all Toyota's quality standards, including safety,
performance, and emissions.
9. Shipping:
Once the vehicles pass all the inspection and testing, they are then shipped to the dealership for the sales
process.
