Derived from a latin word “maneggiare” – to handle “manus”

Okumbe (1998) management is the process of designing,


developing and effecting organizational objectives and resources
so as to achieve predetermined goals of the organization.

• Ensures proper organization and coordination of activities of the school, in


order to achieve the set objectives
