1. ADMISSION MATTERS
A. OFFER LETTER - 1) ACCEPT OUR OFFER ONLINE in newmyPride

2) CHECK OFFER STATUS IN newmyPride. What is your offer status?


Offer Status

i) Conditional Offer
Conditions
For example: to submit UEC certificate, SPM certificate etc
Four conditional offer, must follow up with your school/college and submit a copy of your results
to the Registry when available

ii) Firm Offer


For firm offer, you do not need to submit anything to Registry

newmyPride

• Always remember your Student ID number and quote in


all correspondence (s)
• Wear your ID card for security purpose (s)
2. Enrolment of Subjects

Online Subjects Enrolment/Registration (please check
with your respective academic department if you are unable to enrol
your subjects online)
• For Normal Semester - Deadline for subjects
enrolment and payment is 2 weeks from the date
of intake
• For Short Semester-1 week from the date of intake
Late enrollment and payment penalty: RM150.00 per
subject
Note: Refer to newmyPride guide if you are not sure how to
enrol your subjects online (in the User Guides & Manual)

6. RULES & REGULATIONS
Students must at all times adhere to the Rules &
Regulations of the University
1. Academic Regulations
• Generally, students must attend at least 80% of
classes
• Students to obtain medical certificate (MC) if sick.
If unable to attend class, to report to dept.
2. Code of Student Conduct
a) Academic Misconduct
• Do not attempt to cheat during exams, do not
plagiarize
Serious offence. If found guilty, may lead to expulsion

b) Non Academic Misconduct


• Students who are involved in violent or abusive
behavior (physical or verbal) drunk behavior,
vandalism, sexual harassment etc will be charged
under Disciplinary Misconduct. If found guilty, may
lead to expulsion
• Students who take drugs/in possession of drugs will
be surrendered to the police as it will be a criminal
case.
• Students must dress neatly and decently at all times.
• HELP premises are strictly non smoking zones.
7. HELP SCHOLARSHIP
• Submission deadline: 2 weeks from intake date
• Scholarships awarded are on first-come-first-served
basis
• Award outcome to be decided by the Scholarship
Committee (2 meetings a year, mid-May or mid-Oct)
• Students to pay course fees first before the release
of Scholarship results
• Scholarship forms are available in newmyPride and
in the HELP website www.help.edu.my
