Planning the radio graphics

Needs
The client is open to many different types of genre logo and poster but it
must include the D104 as it is the room number and will make it unique.
They want some logos and posters for punk, metal, singer/songwriter
and drill so they have one for each.
It must include a vector logo and a raster poster using photoshop and
illustrator.
 Brief
• RAD104 wants us to create a new logo and a poster for there next
event.
• We will use illustrator for the logo and photo shop to make the poster
at around A4/A3 size.
• RAD104 plays many different genres of music such as drill, trap, pop,
etc. but I will be making a metal poster and try and make the logo to
link to all of there genres.
• The intended audience is college students and staff and YouTube
account holders and the fans of the genre of which will be played.
• This logo may be used to advertise the YouTube channel

 Similarities and Differences

• Many metal bands and radios will have skulls, guns or devil horns.
• Metal radios and bands are known for the high contrast and lack of
colour in there logos to make it look dark/creepy
• Bands will have such detailed images or fonts on there logos to make
it look cool and stand out

The 1 in D104 is a

person standing I like the idea of logo 2 as it seems more as
Black & white maybe
over a fire if it would attract more people to it. While some red/orange
logo 1 seems a little bit dull and un-original
which may not gain as much attention as
logo 2.

text and logo I will most likely use idea 1 as it will include some more colour which
will make it look better than some of the usual metal posters what are
normally in black and white. As idea 2 is ok but it seems to follow the
same ideas as many dark and thrash metal posters in the modern day.

I believe that the toxic logo would be a better choice as there may be a
better choice in colour schemes and seems as if it is more eye catching due
to size and the actual custom toxic logo.
This is my poster design and layout I wanted to do the fire as
the border to try and make it more eye catching since it is
brightly coloured and also high contrasted.
In the final poster I would like to include the picture of the
drums set into back ground of my poster.

In the final poster I would like to use most if
not all of the assets of this poster and I
believe it looks way cooler and also the fact I
made it up on the fly so it seems better.
