Mobilization.

What is a resource?
• An economic or productive factor required to
accomplish an activity, or achieve desired outcome.
Examples:
Basic resources are land, labor, and capital;
Other resources include energy, entrepreneurship,
information, expertise, management, good will and
time.

• Resource Mobilization is the art of getting


people to give us what we want, when we want
it and for an identified charitable/development
purpose.

In Designing an appropriate strategy for resource
mobilization, one should consider;
•The mandate of the entity/The legal framework in the
country.
•The available competences-inside &outside.
•The political landscape.
•The economic conditions.
•The probable beneficiaries, etc.
