is linked – for OTP purpose
• Email id ending with gov.in/ nic.in/ gembuyer/

GEM USER CREATION

• As per the details furnished by MTP, Primary user will process for creation of gembuyer mail
id and the same will be intimated through System generated SMS to individual users.

• After creation of gembuyer mail id, Primary user will process for creation of GeM account
under SSC-SR.

• Users has to log in to gembuyer mail account through https://email.gov.in/ for activation of
their GeM account by verifying.

• NOTE: Account gets deactivated if non-operational for more than 30 Days. Hence, advised to
log in at some intervals to avoid deactivation.
